I finally found some great ideas for these and am itching to make one. I'm thinking a Winter theme, because we're all tired of hot weather. (What happened to the Sept. cool-down????) Sign up until October 15, and mail by Dec. 1. That should give plenty of thinking about signing up, planning and creating time.

Added: Use any configuration pocket page protector you'd like. One page per person to be mailed to the name below yours. Last person on the list mails to me. Please use the traditional format of the pocket letter being more like a series of pockets that relate to the theme. Since sign up is on-going for Secret Sister, you may want to save the "extra goodies" for your SS unless it relates to the theme. You can do both sides of your page if you are inspired to do so. You can also do some "add ons" to the outside of your page protector - I've seen some gorgeous examples of these and will probably give it a go. There are some great examples of pocket letters on Pinterest if anyone is puzzled by the concept.

Could I have an explanation of what a pocket letter is? I. Am. Clueless. And I bet when I get an explanation I'll slap myself for not knowing what will seem obvious.

It's easier to show you! The last time we did a PL swap I had no earthly idea other than fill up the empty places in a divided page protector. Now there are tons of great examples on Pinterest.

Thanks Pam. In other words it's really similar to an ATC but you either make a card for the pocket or stuff it with fun things. Pam C sent me one of hers...I won it for some nice reason. It was very welcomed and I've used a number of things in it.

I'll think about it for a few days. Looks like fun and if I can get a little caught up in other craft obligations I'll join in.
