Fiskars Customer Service

I just wrote them a big thank you for their customer service so had to tell you guys about it. I'm sure there must a Fiskars trimmer or 2 at your houses.
My big grey 12" wide trimmer that I bought about 12 years ago was cutting wobbly. It looked like I had a curvy blade in it. I emailed Fiskars on August 5 to ask if there was anything I could do about it.
I got the autoresponse saying my warranty question would be answered. What warranty question? The trimmer is so old I really didn't expect anything but a "Sorry, you need a new trimmer".
So a few weeks passed and the trimmer was sitting on a pile of stuff to go to the dump this week but then I got an email saying my parts were on their way so I saved the trimmer. Today I received a new orange carriage that rides along the rail of the guide. Plus they sent an extra nut and a blade.
It would have been nice to have some instructions on how to replace it, couldn't even find a youtube video but I figured out how to pop off the circles on the end, ease out the rail holder and slide the old carriage off the silver rail and install the new one. Ta Da!! A new trimmer!
So, I am very impressed with Fiskars.
