Thanks for the reminder about that technique. Remember Serendipity Squares?

I just threw out a package of dried-out rub ons. I have a container of them from my Christy Tomlinson class days. I should pull them out and use them or lose them.

Oh, yes, I thought about Serendipity Squares while I was doing these, Pam. I liked making them but using them on layouts was another matter.

Marianne your cards are wonderful. I'm working on Christmas cards this weekend, did 34 yesterday (put together from Anna Griffin), stamped insides and envelopes stamped also.
Now to try this challenge before the day is over.

Thanks, Cheryl, surely you must have some scraps from 34 cards that you could cut into squares or some other shape.

Here is a card I did yesterday evening. Not really followed the design but I do have 10 inch squares.

The ornament looks really nice over the squares, Cheryl.

Finally, got a chance to play with my Christmas Card scraps. I've determined that if you want to mix up the squares the background needs to read solid or you end up with a busy mess. So I ended up choosing one pattern of paper for the squares that went on busier background paper.

My faves are the top left and very bottom. Love that design.
