Wow ladies, you are really acing this challenge!

Cheryl your crossover cards are brilliant and I am hoping to do the same for here and Debbie's challenge. Well done!

Nancy...wow that is gorgeous. Please tell me what you colored with to get such a nice saturation of color? And I am also curious as to where your Kraft stock came from if you know. It took the color so richly.

Keep it up everyone!

Farley - the cardstock is Stampin Up's Crumb Cake... I had to look. Usually I like neenah desert storm but I have a package of this from SU. Probably to fulfill an order in stamp club

And the pens are pretty new - Kaiser Craft , they had them at the Island and they have been working great for a few months so far. No clogs or stopping writing. It's a set: 12 pastels (used on the card) and 12 glitter. I used these one time to address the swap cards.

Good to know. My Kraft is mainly Hobby Lobby, odd pieces from CS and assorted mishmash collected. I've always liked the looks of the desert storm stock. I bet it has a harder surface so the ink stays on top rather than soak in like some of my stock.

One card for today. I have a 12x12 pad of decorated kraft paper. I've been wanting to play with this gold foiled polka dot paper but wasn't sure what to do with it. The flowers (NBUS) are heat embossed in gold. I then colored them with Tombow markers which worked very nicely on this smoother kraft card stock base. And of course it needed a bird.

love the bird card, Farley.....

I tried a few ideas this weekend... thought it'd be a perfect chance to test the Gouache paints I got for Christmas... but... the empty spaces in my stamped designs were way too small... so I need to go look for stamps with bigger open areas to paint. On an up note... the paints worked really well on the Kraft cardstock... and I tried a gray, too.... the colors are vibrant... but I need bigger painting areas.

I love cross posts and Debbie's challenge this month. I'm really favoring the Zig water color markers when coloring on Kraft card stock. The one trick I've found is to start out with the lightest color possible then work your way up. The Kraft really alters the color.

I like the embossing on the Kraft cardstock, and that stamp with the berries is lovely. Super cards!
