Your clams look really yummy. I don't think I have had them any other way than fried and I didn't do the frying.

Day 8
In honor of our discussion on clams I decided to scrap pictures from our clam digging excursions this week end. This particular beach is at the end of The Hobbit Trail just north of Haceta Head Lighthouse. It's about a half mile hike all down hill through a dense forest and really does feel like a Hobbit tunnel as you're walking.

Cape Cod and By the Seashore CS kits were used.

You live in the most beautiful place! Haceta Head is a favorite of mine. If that bnb wasn't haunted I would like to stay there next trip!

Beautiful layout.

That is a place on my bucket list! Love to see the lighthouse if you get a photo of it.

I did this layout of the Haceta Head Lighthouse about 3 years ago, so I'm not counting it as my #9. This is looking north at the lighthouse. The clamming pictures are just on the north side of the lighthouse. All the beaches south of the lighthouse are still closed to clamming at this time. We live about 10 miles south of here. I don't have any close ups of the lighthouse, one of the things I still need to do is go visit it. We tend to save those things to do when we have visitors.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we can see the light from the lighthouse when we are on the beach close to our house. I'll have go through my pics on the off chance that I do have one.

Day 9
I got the pics of our recent SCA event from Heather last night and here is my first layout. Our new household with the Dragonwing Pavillion and Viking tent. The celtic golden boar is called Gullinbursti and is what we have decided to call our household. We intend to put the boar symbol on a couple of our surround panels. Bookshelves is the kit I used.

Goodness! Those photos! I was reading about that beach yesterday (planning a couple of nights around Mt. Hood with Chris & his family). I will go there someday.

Nice layout of your encampment!

Beautiful lighthouse photos. Right now, I can't recall if I've walked out to that one or not. But I love that view from the south.

Great LOs and love the boar. My McLaren clan motto is Creag An Tuirc, which means Boar's Rock. It was supposed to be the ancient seat of the clan. I'd much rather it had been something heroic like Kick the Red Coats' Butts, but what the heck.
