new class - Clear and Sheer

Post by nancine »

I'm taking the latest offering over at Online Card Classes. They revamped their website and after a weekend of fits trying to get back in, Kristina fixed me up! Yeah! I would've just resigned up, but I have WAY too many classes there to not be able to access those would've been a bummer. This class is about vellum and acetate. This is a card from one of Day 1's lessons. And I got out my sewing machine and used it - I actually had to thread it and load a new bobbin and I did it, amazing

Really pretty! Is the sentiment embossed? I never think to do it (emboss on vellum) and it always looks so good.
Love your colors.

Love it! I have a good stash of both vellum and acetate, my password is fixed now, so this looks like a great class to take on the new site. Enabler!

I signed up when I got their email
but haven't had a chance to view anything yet :(

Your card came out terrific, that would look good as
a Mother's Day card, with the right sentiment, of course :)

Oh dear...I've been on the fence about signing up. But your gorgeous card may have pushed me over to joining in even if I would be a few days behind.

Gorgeous card, Nancy. I was on the fence about the class, but I'm afraid if I sign up I'll want a dozen new stamp sets that I don't need/won't really use, just to make the cards for class. However, embossing on vellum on a layout is on my list of things to do!

since I have no acetate at the moment to try I skipped ahead in lessons -
day 4 had us using embossing folders with either acetate or vellum. I used what I had!
this idea came to me as I flipped through my embossing folders.
