I played with my embossing folders today, yeah! I'm using the same 2 paper pads that I started the year with, maybe I'll get through them this year.

My folders are out on the table so they are getting closer to my actual hands. And my deadline for my challenge in April is approaching. Guess I need to step away from the sewing machine.

Is that regular foil in the background on the holly, Rachelle?

yes, regular foil over a thin piece of chipboard.

Again, Rachelle, great cards. Just curious how you attach your foil to the chipboard. Spray adhesive or something else?

I ran the chipboard through the xyron, then stuck it to the foil, folded over the foil and tacked on the back with atg.

Such a coincidence. I was going to ask you all if I should keep my Xyron. I never think of using it but would certainly be great for things like this. Plus all those tiny little die cut parts I always have. I don't even know if I can still buy the refills. Is anyone else still using theirs???

I've seen them at Walmart, so the rolls are still available. I still use mine when I can remember it. You know that out of sight, out of mind thing?
