Great work, everyone. I have that same paper pad, too. Let's all use it up.

any

Yikes ladies! I can't keep up with you.

Elizabeth your vintage style cards are just lovely. What wonderful elements you had to work with.

Wendy, your cards are so elegant with the blues and beiges. Gorgeous die cuts for the embellishments.

Marianne, your non holiday papers are perfect. How cool you had those great embellishments.

WOW!!! I haven't checked in here lately but you ladies are rocking this months challenge. Awesome job. I hope to work on some this weekend, I actually have a set done but don't like any of them at all so I will not show them. Glad to see non Christmas colors, may go that way myself.

I'm not loving the ones that I've done, either. I'm really liking the more neutral non traditional colors, too.

Oh, come on, Cheryl and Pam, show us! I'm sure you've both made something nice.
I wasn't thrilled with mine but it was fun making them and using up some stuff.

I realise that I was one of the instigators of this challenge, but I simply can't make five Christmas cards a month. My stash is already too large. So I will try to include at least one each month with the challenge but mine are going to be for other holidays. These are obviously Valentines. I did make five from the formula but one is being held back until it is received. This was fun and I hope to use the sketches again for St. Paddy.

Even after sleeping on it (for several nights!), I still am not overly fond of these. I think that I'll probably deconstruct them and put them on off-white cards. I think the busy backgrounds are what I don't like. While I only used the three papers, they were 2 sided so that did give a few extra options. I'll probably keep the little boy singing under the lamp post - I like him.

Like I said before, I knew they would be fine as is. Most of them have a mix of different scale patterns and different intensities of patterns so they aren't all competing for attention. If I was going to get picky (which I never do! ;) ) I could say that the top left one with holly might benefit from a mat between the two layers. My favorite is the deer on the blue snowflakes paper, center front.

I think they are cute. But I know what you mean. I have trouble with pattern on pattern. Not my cuppa.

Well, gosh, thanks everyone. I think I'm going to take Marianne's advice and put the one panel on a red mat.

I tried this today using 2 different color palettes; I think the blue one is the same paper pad that Debbie posted. Nice to already have 15 cards ready for next Christmas.
