Sending you hugs and :drunk:, Pam!! Life is certainly throwing you a hell of a lot to deal with. I agree that we seem to have unrealistic expectations for this time of year. I blame it on too many Christmas specials as a kid. Had my New Zealand guests, dropped them off with their family yesterday, and am at work today. I feel all out of sorts now. Maybe I'll open that bottle of wine tonight when I get home. ;)

I did mange to make a tag. Not happy with it, but it was an effort.

Thank you all for your support - I treasure each of you.

The office is trying to push it back a year. If I had to stay there until 2017 I'd loose it. September is the earliest I can get out. The CEO just found out last week that I'm leaving. She wants me to come back as a consultant. Ha. I don't know if they want to pay my consulting fee or not. All I know is that they'd better start advertising my job so I can train my replacement. It took me 25 years to learn it and I sure as heck can't teach it in 2 weeks.

Well, stick to your guns. Don't let them keep you from retiring. Life still has its trials but without work they are much easier to deal with.

Oh Pam I'm so sorry you've been given such a dose of hard things to cope with. But stay away from the cigarettes please. Don't let all this derail you from your success. Just keep talking to us when you need to. We are just a keypad away for you

I'm peeking in after 2 days in the kitchen...and wow Pam...just wow. I hope your hubby is doing okay today.

Too much going on in our lives it seems.

And Jen...wow for you as well. Those damn vehicles can be dangerous.

My previous next door neighbor had a vehicle issue with his neighbor's small austistic son several years ago. It was awful. The little guy would dart around outside, and my neighbor just didn't see him as he was backing out of the garage.

Take care everyone, and may this be the end of mishaps for a while.

Pat - sure hope the neighbor's son is ok.

I'm going to work on tags today, I hope!! Long overdue...Not really overdue but definitely time to get them done. Maybe I can use some of my gift goodies!

The tag I made that I wasn't happy with? A little tweaking and it's really cute. The moral of that? Don't throw anything away.

We're our own worst critics. Pam - glad you were able to save the tag. It's those small successes in life that help us keep on keepin' on - why crafting is so important to me!

Finally got inspired for mine. Now to make them! Oddly enough, it was a tag I made a couple years ago that became the inspiration. Now if only I'd taken off the week from work....

I wish I had, too, Monica. Drove through pea soup to get here this morning to finish up time sheets for payroll. Gotta get everyone paid. (Me included!) Now it's raining cats and dogs again and I am not a happy camper. The Lumber River is right behind our office and it's rising. Whoo hoo. I wish I could say I have some ideas for the tags, but I'm as blank as a piece of copy paper. I may recycle my Christmas card ideas and pray that I don't mail the same things to the same people.

Great idea, Pam. You should be able to tell from the photos, who got which card so recycle the ideas. Trust me, people, if you didn't get the masked trees and moon card, you want it on a tag!
