Yay Gwen! I'm so relieved you got your box. I was sweating over the Color Burst arriving...they didn't come until Monday. So happy you like your goodies. I think the combo of the Pigments, stencils and paper will give you some fun creative experimentation time while you drink your Holiday Blend.

This West Coast gal is just now waking up from a very fun birthday party I threw for Bob last night. There may have been a lot of wine involved. so as soon as I get downstairs and make my latte with my Holiday Blend, I'll get my exciting box of gifts from Debi opened.

I'll report back soon...unless I go back to bed for awhile. :D

Received my PAO SS package from Rachelle

And WOW, I'm the lucky recipient of one of Rachelle's
original works of art. It's a hanging design which to me
is very reminiscent of the Broadway production of the
Lion King. If Rachelle hasn't already given it a name,
I think I will call it Simba
Rachelle also included a tag which will join the
others on my tree and a die cut design that will find
it's way onto one of my pages eventually.
One of Rachelle's packages included a dylusions
stencil and metallic gelato, can't wait to get time
to play with those, but alas that probably wont be until
after I get Christmas Day completed.
Thank you Rachelle, I love it all. AND I removed the shiny
aqua paper very carefully because it is going to be
used to wrap at least one of my Christmas gifts this
year :)

I can't get over how much Pam put into this personalized journal. Each Month has two pages, one for a photo of a scrapbook page that was created and posted to our forum by one of us and a page for a printed calendar.

This particular page brought tears to my eyes because first, February is my birth month and second, I created this scrap page in memory of the best dog I ever had. Ginger passed away from bladder cancer October 2010 and I can still get very emotional over losing her. I doubt Pam could possibly have know how significant putting that page on the February page could have been.

Seriously one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. Thank you Pam Cook, you are the best!

There were more photos I took of inside the box and of the journal but, I think I have taken up enough space on this thread. ;)

Like Bobbie, this could be long. I took many photos and had a hard time picking just three. So a little later today I think I'll have to SCRAP the whole deal!!!

Debi, Debi, Debi!!! Your gifts overwhelmed and thrilled me. I was speechless as I opened up the box I am holding in the first photo. I wish you all could see this special box Debi cleverly created. First off the two photos on the front of the box are shots of two of the birds I took on my Big Day of birding this year in May. It opened up to reveal these amazing contents in the second photo...20 cello envelopes containing gorgeous die cuts, most of them of birds. L. O. V. E. Them all.

Then if that wasn't enough there were all these other fabulous, thoughtful gifts in the third photo. Stencils, 6X6 paper pad, sticker sheets, wood veneer embellishments, G45 stamps and a bag of heavenly smelling, locally roasted coffee beans. I. Am. Swooning. And amazingly I have none of these items!!!

But wait...one more thing...note the little blue thumb drive. It contains SVG files!!!! I can't wait to make a latte with my new beans and explore the files.

Debi, my friend, you have outdone yourself with your amazing gifts. Thank you so very much. :happy94:

I got home a little earlier and couldn't wait until I got to my SS box. I am going to tell you I was totally overwhelmed by all the wonderful items. I haven't had a chance to get photos yet but will do that in the morning. BUT my SS is still a SS. No name at all and since the package came from 1 Christmas Lane, Candy Cane, North Pole there is no way to know. She didn't even sign her wonderful journal she made for me.

Just got home and am digging into the stuffed box I received from Deb Barnhill. Will be taking pics as I go and will post asap.

Glad you liked your "Simba" Elizabeth, I was going for a modernistic cardinal, but lion king works for me. :D

Here we go! I love everything in my box from Deb. There are some cool vintage prism stamps, a couple of cute paper pads, some sequins, wood cut butterflies, a cool cling stamp of a girl, some cork paper and embellies, Deb sent me some of her own cricut creations that will definitely fine their way into my next mixed media piece, a beautiful little journal and she made me a cork big "R" for my art room. Thanks again, Deb. I love it all. Oh, and some lovely Godiva chocolate, that my husband seems to have spirited away somewhere. ;)

I just want my Secret Sister know that I am heartsick that the package I paid for overnight delivery didn't arrive. I watched the tracking all day and it kept saying that it was out for delivery. When I checked it again this morning, it said it arrived in Casper, WY at around midnight and is now scheduled for delivery Monday by 3pm. That is the LAST time I trust the USPS to do an overnight.

I am so very sorry your box didn't arrive by Saturday at promised. I wanted to wait for delivery of the last 3 items I ordered for your gift and they didn't arrive until early Friday afternoon. I can only hope it will be worth the wait. Again, I am truly sorry I have disappointed you.
