Lifted from a page done by Kim on Maggie Holmes' design team.
That's my little Kenan with his BFF Zoe walking through the woods looking much like Hansel & Gretel to me.

my grandsons

Post by Keitha »

My grandsons were goofing around recently and I managed to get them to hold for a photo - I love their natural smiles. Page design follows Shimelle's composition #2 from her Ready Set Scrapbook class. I'm loving chunky acrylic right now; the gold '&' and the word 'outdoors' are both from Color Cast.

I was still using eyelets when I had vellum.... that was some of the paper that was ruined in Irene... dang it... but I'm gathering more as the years go on... and I'm sure I'll be setting eyelets again... great for adding twine, too.

I came across this fun little idea in a book, too.... so I think I'll be giving it a try

The next layout in my hybrid Project Life project. I promised to use eyelets on my next layout and here they are. Six Royal Blue eyelets from my original beloved Making Memories stash. At this pace, I should use them all up by 2042.

Intro page for my recent visit from Mom and Lexi. Trying to be trendy but still not certain it's a good fit for me. Paint splatters are fake from MFT stamps. Word stamps are from Ali Edwards Story Stamp June kit - GO. I'll also post this in the Story Stamp thread. Pam?

This paper is geriatric!! That reindeer wood cut out has to be 5 years old. Glad to get these things used up. This was last year Christmas with Caitlin and Allyson.

It's Christmas in July at my house!! This is Jak visiting with Santa last year. This snowman cutout is sooooo old!! Probably 10 years and counting. Glad to use it up. I took that paperclip off the snowman's head, just didn't look right.

2 more in the "old stuff" category. The one LO with the yellow snowflakes are flocked rubons so you know how old they are!!This LO was Jak's first time snow boarding and he was a true natural. Ashley said she could barely keep up with him.

I am not sure this fits on the forum since it isn't paper, but Wendy taught a bunch of us some jewelry making while we were at ReCreate. I came home and went to a yard sale where there was a hopelessly knotted necklace with very pretty beads. They ended up giving it to me and I made this bracelet. It is much prettier in person. Shades of gold and silver and pearl.

I found this cute Groot crochet pattern on the internet http://blog.twinkiechan.com/2014/08/13/ ... he-galaxy/ and have been busily making baby Groots. For those of you who don't know who or what Groot is, he's a character from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy and was a huge hit in the movie.

This looks like a thread that this LO will be happy here. That crown is super old!! This is Ashley with her tattoo. It's in honor of her Dad that passed away. As soon as she turned 18 this was the first thing she did because her Mom said no. At least it's nice and honors her Dad. It says "Always on my mind, Forever in my Heart". I used a stencil to makes tiny little hearts with paste.

These 3 LO's are old CS kits!

The 1st LO is of my niece and Alex. She was in love with him.

The 2nd LO is of Steven's Blue and Gold Cub Scout Program.

The 3rd LO is of my sweet boys.
