Love them all. Very good coloring. I want to try pencils.

I notice Kathy Racoosin must like your work, too. She has made nice comments on several of them. She's a fan.

Oh Nancy! These are all awesome. Those Unity stamps are perfect for this challenge too. You really have a great feel for those watercolor markers and the pencils. I must try pencils next.

I'm not sure where tongi with Racoosin's challenge today. I guess I need to watch her old video to understand it.

I just looked quickly - she made her own pattern with a roll of tape and colored?
hmmmm, not sure if that's for me or not

Okay. Not sure this counts but it's the only coloring I have done today. Yes, it's cleaning day again. Yucko!

I used the gelato technique on a Stampin Up heart mask. I had previously gesso'd the paper so it wouldn't soak through.

Papers used are from a Maggie Holmes Crate Paper stack, except the base which is Stampin Up. Bling from The Stamps of Life. Die cut from My Favorite Things. Ribbon is from my stash.

I tried to channel Shimelle and all the other hip young scrappers but I fear perhaps, I should stick with the CS ALSB style. This feels like a hot mess to me. But at least I did something today. I started it after watching a Jamie Waters video on BPC. 15 minute layouts. Of course, she started with an assembled kit. Smart girl. I spent my first 15 minutes looking through my stencils for a stencil that, once found, didn't work for what I had in mind.

So I worked on the layout in little increments all day in between dusting and lunch and bathroom cleaning. This is the result. I need to get the date from Mallory. Then I'll journal a few words somewhere. I think I'm more comfortable starting with a sketch. Thanks for looking.

Jennifer good job with that one. I may have to add that heart to my upcoming order with SU. I am with you on that ALSB, for me it is a good starting point even though I change it a lot and add or take away stuff.

Whatever style you call this, I think it's terrific! I have that paper pad also so I'm loving your colors. Your layering and blend of textures is awesome. Also I thought this was mom at first, not Mallory...clones!

Here's my coloring from yesterday - Jen had reminded me of my watercolor crayons so I tried them out. It was very, very hot here yesterday so I spent as little time out in the garage as possible. Simple washes of color,
When I got the binder of Tim stamps down I was shocked to see these had never seen ink, and I'd forgotten I had them!

Love these. We need a fan right now.

I found some crayons, too, but I'm clueless. Never been used. I'll look for some video tutorials.
