April Challenge! (use your scraps)
Re: April Challenge!
Before this gets to the third page I want to say WOW to you all.
Debbie that took a lot of courage and I'm sure great emotion to create this lovely LO.
Pam C, using those 6x12 scraps is brilliant. I have a ton of that size. Love the baseball card LO of your son, darling. Is the count now 3 or 4 weddings? I've lost track but all your save the date LOs are treasures.
Pam P, Maddie...WOW, what a stunner! Good for you using a NBU tool for the hexagons? Fabulous LO.
Marrianne, what a great LO waiting for the perfect photos...love the Meadowlark:)
You'd think with all this inspiration I could get some scrapping done? I really need to schedule some scrapping time even if it's just of my bird photos.

Love these layouts and want to comment on all of them but I feel so far behind.
Pam, I have those hexagon tools also and made a Starting Point layout with them a few months ago. Haven't posted because there are no photos.
If you gals want to see my naked Starting Points, I could FLOOD the threads. Ha ha. Seems that's all I do. I think I just like to make the pages.
I love how you used your hexagons. Much better than mine. So I will copy you, for sure, Pam.

Thanks, Farley, I had no idea that was a real bird. Thanks for telling me. It's a title page for an album so there will be no photos on it. It is just to tell the year of the album. I don't make naked layouts.paddlegal wrote:

Re: April Challenge!
Scraps and the background sheet is at least 15 years old. I can't remember what year this was. probably 2004 or 2005? The girls found these in Cara's closet and wanted to try them on.

Re: April Challenge!
Such beautiful heartwarming layouts
Re: April Challenge!
Love the bright colors of the dresses and also the 3 clusters using the birds as a focal point! Good job.
Re: April Challenge!
Very nice, Pam! The girls look lovely.
Re: April Challenge!
Beautiful pages, Pam!
This is not one of my best - it was a good idea that didn't quite work. Do I get credit for actually pulling out the sewing machine??? George was impressed that I still remembered how to thread the thing.

The whole thing is adorable!
Re: April Challenge!
Everyone must have used all their scraps early this month?
Here's one I just did quickly - loads of scraps on my desk now (and I had just moved a pile of scraps to my bag-o-scraps). Interesting how the colors from different companies and collections are so similar.
