the floors are in and we move to a hotel in the morning as Steve finally realized we can't be here when they sand & stain.
so not looking forward to it.

No, you can't be there when they put the finish on. We had ours refinished while we were on a trip to Australia but that was "only" the living, dining and kitchen. That worked out well as it had weeks to just sit and cure.

Did you do the March Tim technique with the embossing powder on the texture paste script? I want to try that soon.

It is modeling paste through a script stencil covered with 3 different colors/ layers of glaze one of them being bronze which added shine.

Wonderful piece Christy! You have been through a lot with those floors. I'm sure it will be well worth it once totally completed. I hope you're getting help in putting everything back.
