I spent the day making cards with an old friend today. Finished eight cards including this one. Most used the current stamp set and card kit from Stephanie Barnard and The Stamps of Life. As did this one. Now that I see it on the screen, I think I need to add some sequins or something else to dress it up. But here is my wonky card.

Wow! All you ladies have posted some really great cards using the sketch. So good to see how everyone can get such a different look with the same sketch.

Thanks, guys. I wish the photo was better. The locket is actually black sparkly paper. I guess that's why I didn't add bling. But still think I may.

Okay. Here's another wonky card from me. Working toward my goal of making five holiday cards a month. Simple Stories paper. Trying to use that pad up. Double whammy. More cards will be posted later but I have a Board meeting to attend now. Fun. Ha!

Outstanding Jen! You've got a leg up on your holiday cards, used up stash and used this sketch. Very cool. Thanks!

Debbie, I am attempting to aspire to Jen's schedule of 5 holiday cards a month also. I just finished my January batch today.

Maybe we should add that as another challenge?

Okay, my five holiday cards for January are finished. If we're going to have a challenge thread, I'll wait to post them there. Whew! Four days to spare. Amazing how quickly they went together once I sat down to do it. I'm all in.

Of course, this late in the month, I suppose we have to start the challenge officially in February. I can see, I'll be behind soon.

By the way, I am hanging my head in shame for not commenting on the other cards here. Farley, yours are stellar examples. Debbie, I love the dragonfly and sequins on yours. And Nancy, you know I adore that beer card. You certainly have made that stamp pay for itself. No NBUS there!!!
