Stopping by Michaels on the way home to pick up a couple of those paint doppers. Going to have to try that. I love that look.

I think they'd be gorgeous in silver, pale grey, and light blue for winter layouts. It seems like I'm always using hearts and starts - these will be fun on boy layouts - black, brown, & denim blue for all those rowdy photos, right? Red, white & blue for July 4th?

I wondered if someone discovered this technique while being frustrated with their dried and drying up dabbers.

it's a really cool look - it was one of the Technique Junkie techniques awhile ago.

BTW, they won't be putting out a TJN after this year. I think there's too much free info out there and they really have kind of run out of ideas I think! The last year has been pretty sad as far as content... I only subscribed out of loyalty to Pat.

I don't know how Pat has kept TNJ going all these years, it was a valiant effort. I sort of felt that ideas were repeating years ago when I stopped subscribing.

2 out of 6 semi dried up dabbers did this when squirted with water. Distress Stains do it much easier.

Funny you should mention the Distress Stains - I finally unpacked last night and was looking at mine thinking they'd be perfect for this.

Sorry, but it takes me a little while for my brain to function some years. ;)

I think Tim did it on some demo.
