I should be able to get mine out this Saturday. I have envelopes ready - just no desire to go to the post office.

You all have my permission to beat me severely. I need to get mine made and just haven't had the energy. I'm off next week, so will get them done over the weekend and in the mail next Monday.

You just need motivation. We found out last night that Joel needs knee surgery. Appointments the day before Thanksgiving (there goes our trip to Ohio) and then hopefully the procedure the following week. My time will not be my own during his post-op time - better get my projects done pronto!

I haven't been to a post office in years. I go to the postal unit in my local grocery store. No way I'm facing the P.O.

Tags are done.
Mailing labels are made.
Envelopes are waiting to be stuffed.

I'm planning they go out this Thursday...that is my goal. Like Jen, I have a postal unit just around the corner at my grocery store. I loathe going into the actual PO.

The advantage to working in a town of 7,000 people.... very short lines at the PO! :)

The lines don't bother me - it's the attitude of the employees. New rules every time I go there. Customers are treated as "less than". Plus their hours suck. 8 - 4:30? Seriously? Why not 10-6 or 11-7 so working people can get there and use the post office? (sorry for the rant!)

I agree. I have them weigh it here at the hospital mail room and put the stamps on it myself. I've been buying my stamps at the UPS Store. It cost a little more, but worth it to me.

Gee, I had no idea going to the post office was so traumatic. In our little town the worst part has been all the questions they were forced to ask about what it contains and trying to sell you other stuff. But today, I pushed a button to answer the questions and was in and out in no time. So, my OCAM is now mailed and I have the box for my Secret Santa gifts.
