A friend took a class from Nancy Curry at the stamp show in Cincinnati this summer. It was about exploring different art mediums and one color. The small squares are painted on and then you add different items/backgrounds to the squares. Kind of like inchies... but not! This canvas is kind of small so my squares are a bit under 1". It's then matted on some gold cardstock and then a black canvas frame.

It would make a cool card! the borders are a bit jagged - 'cause you do the painting free hand - better if you have a perfectly square canvas to start with!
but for a card you could use watercolor paper!
