Manila Tags ( Spoiler! Dani's swap

Post by nancine »

Here are some of the tags I made for the manila tag swap Dani is hosting.
They use a variety of materials - many from my PIF envelopes!

oooooh I love them too! I'm still sitting on the fence on this one. If I get them done they'll get there in time; if not I'm a big loser.

LOVE THOSE!! TFS!

Nicole and I made some tags a few months ago, but I never got further than the backgrounds. I guess I still have time to do something with them and send them in. That swap is officially living in the CS community, right? I don't think I'm signed up for it there.

I think it's open until the end of November -
now I have to finish my tuna-shrine! Ahhh, not a shrine to tuna, but a shrine made from a tuna can. My DH thinks I'm crazy

This is a huge swap! Love all the awesome stuff that's coming in. Got your package today Nancy! Of course, I opened up the newspapers first  . DH who had played hooky today saved me our local paper too. (AND he complimented me on my new haircutthe minute I walked in - WTF?????)

I LOVE the ballerina. I'm keeping her for sure!

Ah, I am still obsessed with both dragonflies and alcohol inks. This is a manilla tag coated in AI, then dipped in UTEE to create a "pond" surface. The tree branches are drawn on and then I hit it with the heat gun to make them sink in a little. Then my dragonflies are stamped (purple daisy designs) and colored with twinkling H2Os and attached with diamond glaze. I shamelessly have to say that I LOVE THEM TOO! Made some for myself just to look at
