I'm so happy to see everyone getting into this class! Great cards here in our forum!!

Pat - great idea using that "shadow stamp" - those are many years old and need to be brought out again!

Really great cards. I am so glad to see you all using stamps you have on hand. I have nothing that they are using. Need to pull some out and follow my PAO friends.

I remembered they were called shadow stamps after I posted. One of those "sometimers moments".
I have several of these that I tried to get rid of, but couldn't...so I'll bring them out again just because I can!

I don't have any of the stamps being used either Cheryl. I am not hip or up to date I guess. I just dance to my own tune. I do like some of the stamps used, so I may become current by default.

Love the cards. Those are a great take to the technique using stamps you had already.

I finally got in a a good play day, although I spent way too much time looking for things as I can't remember where I've unpacked everything and there are still some boxes I haven't located. Since I'm behind with the classes, I've just been randomly watching techniques that look interesting. I also don't have the majority of my stamps located yet, so I'm a little limited.

1st up: Day 1 Background Stamps. I used a strip from CS Cyprus and stamped it across a piece of watercolor paper to do the white ep tech.

2nd: I tried the background tiles tech, but couldn't really come up with a good stamp to use, so may try this one again when I find them. This is a frame stamp from the Written Word remix kit.

Then I jumped to the Outline Stamps days 5 & 6.

1st: the colored ep tech Not sure where this stamp came from. I think Paula gave it to me. Maybe Recollections? I ruined 3 of these before I realized my embossing pad was dry, then I spent an hour looking for my embossing reinker and the darn thing was on the table looking at me. :angry48:

2nd: the paper piecing tech CS Hydrangeas

3rd: Water Wash tech CS Hydrangeas

If you have a look in the galleries for each class, you see many people using other stamps and doing wonderful cards. Lots of imagination being used to make the cards uniquely their own.

So glad that you can finally play along, Rachelle. It's frustrating not to be able to find anything but you will probably discover all kinds of 'new' things you forgot you have.

I do need to check out the gallery. I spent a lot of time today trying to work on a card finished it but don't like it at all. I'm going to wait until the weekend to try again other things going on tomorrow & Friday.

Rachelle your cards are a great addition here!

Beautiful! You have been very productive. I really liked the last card today - both the technique and the colors. My knee jerk reaction is to place an order, but I am trying to talk myself out of it. I am sure I have something similar... I am repeating that last part over and over. LOL

Rachelle - it's so nice to see your artwork again!

I hope I can remember to put together an art kit to ride with me when we finally move. It seems I'm most inspired when I don't have access to my supplies.

Great cards Rachelle, glad your back at it!

I'm doing the same thing about trying not to jump and buy what they are showing and finding what I have will work.
