Pirate + Cat in the Hat

Post by mpizzazz »

Last month, I volunteered to do a wall hanging for the Airedale Fundraiser in October. They have a main quilt to raffle and then added bonus quilts so people buy more tickets so they get a ticket for the bonus quilts.
Here is the Pirate block. I still have the Cat/Airedale in the Hat and a clown to do.

The crossbones are some dog bone eyelets I had with a brad through the middle. Scrapping supplies can be used in quilting. Oh, and the red chiffon "feather" was stiffened with matte gel medium.

Thanks! I heard that squeal, Pam!

The earring wasn't on the original drawing but my neighbor, the beader, said, every pirate needs an earring, so we found him a hoop.

If it wasn't Pam you heard, it was me. That is just too cute. Love the eye patch.

Here is the 'Cat' in The Hat block for the wall hanging I am making.

And, I actually have some layouts to post, too.
