Rachelle's Gift Making Extravaganza!

Post by azemigh »

I kicked into gift making mode this week and have really been on a roll. First up, I made a pair of fingerless gloves with mitten tops for Roger. Really an easy pattern; planning to make a few more.

Next is a scooter pocket ensemble for my mom. She is disabled and rides a 3-wheel scooter everywhere, but it has limited storage, so I made her this quilted set that has 2 saddlebags connected to a chair pad and then a smaller 2 sided pouch that velcros over one arm.

I also found an upholstery supply in Eugene that carries the cording for my fabric bowls. Made a purple one for Heather and a Grinchy one with some coasters for Paul. Also, made him a grinch ornament that I pinned a couple of years ago.

I found these scarves at Michael's that have 3 rings for attaching dangles so I made a couple of those. I think I'm keeping the pink/purple one for myself.

I have some tape measure covers and SCA cloaks in progress so I'll be adding pics as I go.

OMGosh Rachelle! You really ARE on a roll. The scooter pocket is brilliant. I bet your mom will be thrilled to have such an attractive and useful accessory.

Wow! Love all of them, but especially the mittens. Wish I'd seen those when Chris was in high school. They would have been perfect for the band kids to wear in cold weather.

I love each and every one of them. Bet you could sell a ton of those scooter bags in assisted living neighborhoods!
