Pat and Barbara - thank you for such lovely cards!
I'm packing my supplies for the beach re<create> 2018 now. Hoping to get my cards for this swap done early this week, hoping!!! Some of the women who attend are such BAD influences. Pam P & Monica can attest LOL

Tawanda isn't going, so you can't blame that one on her!

I received two more stunning cards. Barbara, your Cardinal with his bird-house is adorable. Sue, I don't know what kind of bird yours is, but he's certainly got attitude! Love those intricate daisies too!

Farley - I got your card - the blending on this is beautiful. I have such a problem with that.
Re: Card Swap - Revised!
Farley, I agree with Barbara. You are the master of blending distress oxide inks. I need to watch some videos and learn how to do that.
Love the card - thank you!

Received Farley's beauty yesterday!

Wow thank you all!
If you’re having trouble blending the Oxides check two things. One is the type of card stock. I typically use Bristol or water color paper depending on how much water I think I’ll be using if any. These cards were on Bristol. So either a heavy smooth finish stock or the smooth side of water color paper. Bumpy side works too if you’re alright with the textured finish. Second I use the small, round Tim blending tools. I’ve tried other blending tools but always go back to Tim’s round ones. Those original rectangular Tim tools just don’t work as well with those hard edges.
Also I use a slippery craft matte to work the color on and off the paper.
