Taking his basic ideas and making them your own is what it is all about. I'm sure he would be pleased with your results.
Absolutely! They turned out beautifully. I like both of the ideas for the frames. I have those gel frame things that came in a CS kit I think and haven't used them. It might look nice if you weren't happy with the glossy accents in the middle to just use a piece of thickish clear plastic from some packaging. I'm going to try that.
And the metal frame looks very vintage! Thanks for the ideas!

exactly what JUdi said
It has been wonderful the last days watching you all take Tim's techniques and turn them into your own.
GREAT JOB
Pam I really, really love them but the snowman one is tops. I just have this thing for snowmen!!!! Can't wait for my Tim order to get here to play some more.
Thanks! He (the snowman) was fun - I couldn't find UTEE in Chapel Hill or Durham but I found a jar of stuff called "Snow" - no kidding. I added some Diamond Dust embossing powder from Stampin Up (Cheryl, is that the right name?) and added it for sparkle but you can't see it.
Didn't have a small garland so I pulled out a piece of copper wire and added some beads to it. I really like the purple and blue blended together for the background.
Love your tags, Pam! I didn't want to attempt Tim's snow concoction, so I just used Ice Stickles. Somewhere around her I have some 'Snowtex', but I couldn't find it. I liked the Stickles. The more sparkle the better.

Marianne - good thinking - I have a lot of that plastic that I've saved. I was thinking of just using that cut to shape - but inside the gel frames - like it!!!
I guess I must have gotten those gel frames from CS too - just found them in my stash.
