I am lazy. I don't use any adhesive. I might hold it down with a fingernail.

Here's my entry--I just used a glue dot to hold the mask in place,

I really like the effects you can get using this technique! I'm hoping to leave work early today and this will be a great way to relax this afternoon.

For holding the mask in place, I've also used the little Hermie squares, pressed securely onto the mask first and then gently onto the tag, atc, etc. that I'm working on. This works especially well on manilla tags, since they're a bit slick and the Hermie doesn't always stick well to them anyway.

I loved Karen's techniqure for making repositionable adhesive for your mask. Put regular double-stick tape/tape runner on the back, then attach the mask to your a piece of your clothing and pull it off. Do this over and over, about a dozen times. The cloth fibers will make the adhesive much less sticky, but leave enough stick to stay in place.
Cheap and easy . . . and very effective!

Actually..... using post-it notes as your masks is a great way to do it.... then you can keep your masks once you've made them.... stick 'em inside a page protector along with a stamped image of the stamp.... whoohhhoooooooo

and... now.... for me to get busy and work on the challenge....
