Pam, WOW! Super idea and gorgeous results. I am wondering like Keitha...how hard to clean Stickles off of the stencil? Guess if it’s done immediately there shouldn’t be a problem.

Is that all one piece or are there multiple colored papers you used? I’m fascinated by the printing under the Stickles!

The paper is a Paige Evans paper. I love it but have trouble using bold colors like this. Every time I went through my scrap basket, this one yelled “ME! ME!” but never what I was looking for. I’ve seen people do beautiful pages with it and it’s more versatile than my brain wants to make it.

The Stickles rinsed right off the stencil with some soap & water. It took a while because I used so many different colors and you all know how L-O-N-G they take to dry. Sure felt good to use up some of them.

Here’s what I came up with. Time flies.

It’s a perfect rainy day for crafting. I’m inspired by everyone’s stencil art so I made two stenciled panels to work with. I hadn’t used the Deco Foil Metallix paste yet and gave the aged copper a try with a CP Deco Fan stencil. Love it! The pearly yellow is a Nuvo Mousse and CP Off the Loom stencil. Now to wait for at least an hour for drying and what I’m going to do with them.

Thank you Jill!

I just finished one more stencil. I didn’t care for how it looked with just the blending so I outlined it with a black journaling pen. I knew I couldn’t outline exactly (while drinking a double espresso mocha) so I gave it a sketchy look. Now I like it.

Thanks Ladies!
Farley - I love these. Great idea to outline the leaves. Perfect touch.

In case you need some more inspiration and an excuse to pull out your Distress Oxides.

I decided to pull out some "virgin" stencils that have been languishing in a drawer feeling unloved. Played with my new rounded applicators and Distress Oxide. Not sure what I'll do with the doily - I was very disappointed with the stencil until I did some fussy cutting. The card with the sequins is for Macie - she loves sparkles!

Very pretty Pam. I really like the blue edging on the rainbow card; little details make all the difference.
Farley, I bet those metallic pastes are gorgeous IRL. The sketchy outline on the leaf stencil is another one of those details that take it from nice to fabulous.

Oh Pam I meant to ask, did you do anything to adhere your stencils to the paper while you were blending ink? Are your new blending brushes rounded foam, or the brush ones, and are they easier to use than the flat foam ones?
