My first digi - Taylor's Award Presentation

Post by n8tvtexan »

I adore LMCTW and it was a kit I didnt purchase. It was released at a time when I had to cut back all extra expenses. Anyway, I was THRILLED to see CS had a free digi demo of LMCTW today!!! I know the pic isnt that good of her but I wanted to do something with her awards presentation from 3rd grade. I resized the layout to show here. Do I need to shrink it less next time for sharing?

What a great LO and what a doll your daughter is. WTG on her awards. Isn't LMCTW a wonderful kit. I've been snagging that paper up everytime I have a discount. Some of my best cards were made with that paper. I may have to take that plunge into digi world since that is the demo kit. I have a weird computer set up so I'm not sure digi will ever work for me.

Good first attempt, and the size is perfect for
sharing here.
One tip someone told me when I tried it
was to add a bit of shadow to the elements
that you add. It gives them some depth and
looks like an actual touchy feely page.

Awesome! I love it. Isn't it nice to get something free that you can actually use? Great job!

Isn't it fun to play? My first digi attempts were with the free Retro download. Your daughter does have a beautiful smile and this is a great way to showcase it.

Thanks gals! Thanks for the tip about shadowing. I'll play around with the digi kits more later.I did that one in about 20 minutes. When I was trying to fall asleep last night, I thought, HEY, there are other features in my editing program that I could have done cool things on that layout!
