Gas Works Park

Post by Yoli »

I'm really cranking these LOs lately. :cool5: This LO is the 1st of a series. It was our first visit to Gas Works Park, a local park which has some of the best views of Seattle and a wonderful place to fly kites. It use to be the site of a natural gas mnftr plant 100 yrs ago. Around 1975 the city purchased the site and converted it to the beautiful park it is today.

It's a simple LO but I love the fact that I'm actually in the photo!!! I also luv the fact that I was able to use my new Cricut cartridge, A Child's Year. TFL!

I really like it - it looks youthful without being over the top "cutesy". Great colors.
