Very cool. I see some non-traditional Christmas cards using this technique. Lots of sparkle, but no glitter to make messes in people's homes!

Did Julie really just try to say there was such a thing as too much sparkle?
Julie, honey - there is no such thing. Trust me - I wear glitter daily - no such thing as too much.

These are just spectacular - I can't wait to get home and try it.

Wow. I missed these the first time around, and they are simply fabulous. I love Glimmer Mists and I had fun playing with the gesso while doing the CIAB postcard project. I just knew I was gonna have to get myself a bottle of gesso at the art store! ;) Thanks for sharing.... show what you all have done with these great samples!

I started my twinchies for the CS retreat ice breaker swap last night, using this technique for the background, and am really liking the way they turned out. Thanks for posting this!
