Tissue Paper Technique Cards

Post by azemigh »

I made a few cards yesterday with some of my tissue paper samples. (See Honey's Tissue Paper ATC post for instructions). I love this technique. I had alot of TJ and Bernie Berlin backgrounds that I tried this on and I am very happy with the results.

Love the cards, Rachelle! My favorite is the 'a little rain must fall' one but they are all great!
and that does it, I've really liked that umbrella man for a long time but now, I know I "need" him!!

I forgot to add that this technique is great when you want to add a stamped image to a project and are afraid that it won't turn out right, you might not like it, or the surface may not take the stamp cleanly. You can stamp it on the tissue and audition it before you glue it down and proceed. As well as tissue, used dry teabag paper works well and gives a nice aged look as does dressmaker pattern paper.
