Starch Smoosh Cards

Post by azemigh »

I got out the starch and played with this TJ technique yesterday. I tried it on both glossy white and glossy black (I have no source for glossy black cardstock; I just painted glossy white with a layer of acrylic paint) and I like the black better I think.

Horizontal card looked like a galaxy to me so I used the Science birthday stamp some fiber and a Fizz brad; mounted on Basic Grey

Vertical card I stamped the CS Art Deco stamp (one of my favs) onto the smoosh and embossed with a mixture of Verdigris, Avocado and Gold EP; Saying is from CS Bridges embossed with same mixture of EP and then attached 3 gold leaves with wire; mounted on Necessities by Nic paper.

Very nice.
I like the black and pink one the best. I agree it is very spacey looking

Those are both very cool looking - I think I have some spray starch around somewhere and will have to dig it out! The black & pink are a great combination!
