Idea for storage of Tim's cling mount stamp sheets

Post by Kellacious »

Ladies,

The 8x8 Post Bound Album project Tricia did on TV Weekly is just about the right size for these sheets. The next one I make will be about 2" shorter, but I think this works well.

I have the PDF file of instructions, so if you need them you can PM me. It won't let me upload a PDF file . . .

Take care,

Well, Doh. Why didn't I think of that? Kelli - you're a genius! And won't it be fun to decorate the cover with TH stamps?!?

Could or Should? Okay, I'm not kidding myself - I'd buy the kit to make the notebook and then stash it away.

Pam (and anyone else thinking about this):

I can get the bookboard and post screws here locally for MUCH cheaper than the kit. I know we've ALL got plenty of paper, so the only other thing you'd need is the bookbinding glue.

Let me know . . .

I've got a couple of kits waiting to be made. Now I've just got to get off my rear and do it! I'll let you know if I need more, tho!

From the photo, it looks like you would need to put a cardboard spacer between each sheet with rubber on it, in order to space them apart a bit. And you don't have them in page protectors, right? Looks like it would be kind of tight to get the stamps out, unless you score the TH pages so that they bend at the place along the spine where they are locked in. If you add some very long screws, then it would be more like a ring binder that is very empty, and the pages would be much easier to get at...

Sure is a pretty option, though...

I was thinking of buying the velcro thingys that replace the posts - someone out there knows the real name of these things. Also, if you buy the pages sold for Tim's stamps, you could replace the standard page protectors (and use the standard ones for other stamp brands).
