Re: Happy Australia Day!
Thanks everyone.
Did the typical...
bacon and egg muffins for breakfast.
DH was going to mow the lawn til he pulled the cord out of the mower instead of just starting it.
DH cleaned BBQ
DH cooked Australian shaped rissoles/ meatballs for home made burgers followed later with coffee and lamingtons
...then I went to work

and two---what the heck are lamingtons?
Re: Happy Australia Day!
Happy Australia day to you all. In celebration it is snowing here. I figured that would cool you down from those hot days
Re: Happy Australia Day!
The supermarket I bought them from already preshaped them, as they have been for the last couple of years.ChristyB wrote:Maree wrote:Thanks everyone.

Lamingtons are usually plain/ vanilla cakes dipped (normally totally) in chocolate icing then rolled and covered in coconut. I made ours this year as cupcakes so only dipped the tops in choc/coconut.
Pics were taken and get developed tomorrow and pick up Thurs
BTW the mower is fixed and lawn done today
