Making some progress.
This is the first room you enter from the front door. We’ve used it as a home office and very briefly as a craft space (years ago). I bought the white desk when I started working from home. Joel was the only one to use the brown desk. I just spent some time cleaning out both ends of the lower piece.

You can see I found a home for my Iris bins!

Laurie, here’s the shelf where my paper stash lives (no plan to move it).

Some folks were worried about me storing my ink pads on their sides so I splurged on a shelf for them and no, it’s not large enough! It sits on the back of this Alex piece. This is also where I put tools as I think of them, to take to re(create). Normally, they do have a home!

Wow! I have mom and the grands this weekend and I’m busting at the seams to get in my room.

Did I offer that?! I misspoke! I will heap patterned paper onto anyone who would come help. :cool5:
I moved my punches and paper pad bin into my new scrap room this morning. My reward for vacuuming and mopping this morning is to head over to Home Goods to search for some pretty bins. Still looking for a place to stash these 5 gallon water bottles…

And... Laurie.... those people who have those fancy-pants rooms with all the matching Ikea furniture either have too much money on their hands... OR... crafting is their job. (although, even if it was my job, I'd still have a messy room)

Use whatever pieces of furniture you have on hand... and whatever containers fit your needs.... I used to think these because I thought they'd look pretty and not messy. But then I never opened them to use what was inside.

If anyone who's coming to re-create wants some of them in assorted sized (mostly flower/butterfly prints) I'll gladly give them to you.

So... containers that suit my needs now are things like Iris containers that I can peek into without opening them. :)

I know you meant to type, "I will accept heaps of patterned paper from anyone who will come to help." Right?? LOL

maybe we could sneak some into Laurie's car when she's packing to head home. :greenbounce:

Ribbon?! I have a tone of ribbon. I think I got a lot years ago with Stampin Up and have never used it. Do you guys use ribbon?

Definitely have us use ribbon on a card project, Laurie!

I'm trying to use up some of the crazy ribbon I bought over the years.

Laurie, when I get back from NY and clean my scrap studio, I will post photos. So fun to see everyone's scrap spaces!
