Happy National Card Making Day!

Post by gwendols »

Happy National Card Making Day! I think I'll celebrate it by making my Halloween cards for the swap. :cardmaking:

I'm going to finish watching Season 1 of Eureka. Not feeling creative at all.

I’m doing the same thing, Gwen...next time I should pick a very simple design.

Great use of WCMD Gwen!

I spent most of the day on StampNation’s WCMD Virtual Zoom Retreat. It was fun and I made two cards while watching all the demos. I posted my two cards on a separate thread. One more Zoom session tomorrow and I hope to squeeze out at least one more card.

I did this and didn't even realize! The last lesson on the Strathmore Watercolor Workshop was masking and I used two small pieces of paper to make card fronts. I'll post them in Farley's Masking Challenge.

I'm sure you all finished some beauties! Are you going to show them off?

I've only been making Christmas cards lately. One of my friends here in our community has a 93 year old father who lives in a retirement center. I am going to give her enough cards for him to distribute to all the residents there and hopefully the works also. She said he knows everyone there and there are 85 - 90 residents. I already have a box full for her to give him.
