Cards For Kindness - Scrapbook.com

Post by paddlegal »

One more chore I did yesterday while staying inside. I have a few “extra” cards on hand  ! I really like the idea of this program so I gathered up 60 cards in 7 categories, enveloped them and now to box up so I can mail it to Scrapbook.com on Tuesday. This week I’ll see about more to send them. I may have missed a few. I need the space for more cards.

The only downside to this is I have to go inside a post office or a Staples to ship it. I’ve still avoided going into any store so far. My only exceptions have been my bank and a car dealership.

I’ve seen their poster when I go to pick up my orders advertising they want cards. They haven’t allowed ‘in person’ pick ups since early March. Our card club donates to them and a hospice organization in the valley.

Great job Farley.

My neighbor is sending cards out left and right. Over 300 so far this year. The other day I took her a boxful of my cards. She wanted to pay me. I said no thanks, I got to play with paper!!!

I've really been meaning to do this, too.

I hope to get mine soon to a local Hospice/Senior center. Any donation place is a great idea.

I wish I had cards made up to donate. I gave away my entire stash of cards months ago during another purge/reorg of some scraproom space.
