Organization

Post by EDelValle »

Not an organization tip or tool but I just
wanted to comment on storage of stamps and dies
and even paper.
I came across a website through a Facebook post
called checkoutstore.com
they sell plastic storage bags of all different sizes,
with flaps or without and the plastic media boxes
that some folks use for unmounted stamps or dies and the
prices are nicely competitive. Imagine my surprise
to find that they are located in Brooklyn, New York
not too far from my home and they have free shipping.
Their products are sold on Amazon also, but I think if I
had seen them on Amazon first I would have thought
that the stuff would be coming from China.
The prices on Amazon are the same as buying from
the seller's website. In case you use one of these methods
for storing stamps and dies or paper the envelopes are 3 or 4 mil
thick and are well made, As for the media boxes, the price
goes down when the number ordered goes up; 5 boxes would be
$2.00 each but 25 would be about $1.33 each. They also have the
thicker media boxes for wood mounted stamp storage

Thanks for the reminder. That is where I got the envelopes that I use for my stamps & dies. Forgot about them but I do have plenty left from my last order.

I broke down and bought a pack of the envelopes for cardstock. I do enjoy making page kits and am forever splitting the seams of page protectors from stuffing the products into them. Plus I have some product collections that I like to keep together and they would be great for that (I hope). Most purchases get filed into my mega-stash but some just need to stay together. Zip lock bags are nice but I never seem to have enough of them. Obviously needing to justify that purchase!

I might need to buy some of the cardstock sized ones, too... that'd be perfect for page kits and scraps, too...
