I allowed myself some playtime this evening with the latest Club Sursee stamps and dies. The basket die called for metallic card stock. I love how it not only cut the basket but embossed the texture without having to do anything extra with special mattes or cutting plates.

The older Tim Holtz, non-mirror metallic card stock in copper worked like a charm with this die. The background is the negative of a CP stencil with Nuvo Mica Mist in Fresh Pear. You can see the pearly shine on the upper part of the card. I was surprised it showed up in the photo.

Very pretty! The background just looks perfect and really lets the basket of flowers shine.
It’s not easy to photograph shimmery things. It’s a bonus when you can get a good one!

I love how that basket turned out. I’ve yet to play with mine but maybe I’ll try it with my aluminum.
