Tonight’s project

Post by pamcook »

I had a bag of labels. Every time I’d get labels, they went in the bag. Inspired by how much I love my enamel dots divided by color, I decided to do the same with the labels.
I might have a label hoarding problem...

Now that they're out in the open like that, you know you'll use them more!! Well done!

Great idea Pam, I love labels as a layering element in an embellishment cluster. But mine are typically stickers; were these just cardstock, or did you de-stick stickers?

Yes Debi - that container is on my desk - front & center.
Keitha - most are stickers. I just cut them apart keeping the backs on.

As with the enamel dots, so much easier to see what I have! I hated sorting through that plastic bag. I might not use them very quickly but I know I’ll use them more often now.

Yes Kathy, it’s a very nice assortment! I know I have a few sticker sheets that are close to being “used up”. Will cut those apart soon to pitch what I won’t use, punch shapes from some, and add any stickers to this little collection.

Great job on that Pam. Wish I could get inspired to put mine in order.

Lately, I've had very rare bursts of energy. Oddly enough, I found this to be relaxing. I also cut come flowers from an old calendar - too pretty to throw away.

This is perfect Pam. Otherwise, “out of sight, out of mind”.

Well duh. Never occurred to me to cut them apart with the backing still on them LOL. I know right where to reach for my label stickers, but have had success putting other embellishments front and centre in a little bin on my desk to get them used up: frames, flair, etc. This month, courtesy of another group's challenge, it'll be acrylic pieces.

Looks like a great way to ensure you will use them, Pam! I've taken to leaving a plastic container on my desk of things I want to use on pages. Got a fair amount of chipboard used up last month that way.
