Tim Holtz inspired tag
Tim Holtz inspired tag
For those of you who follow his blog you are familiar with a recent post where he highligted a tag created by Cindy from http://starlitstudio.typepad.com/starli ... rlitStudio. Inspired by Cindy and Tim, I created my own version of their tag.
I followed her tutorial & created my own flourish since I haven't found this particular mask at my LSS. I may add something to the upper right hand corner of the tag. Overall however I am pretty pleased with the results. Oddly enough I am most proud of the fact that I created my own mask.
I'm almost done with the LO but I wanted to share the tag in the interim. TFL!

That is so cool..I love it and have plans for doing some of this myself...I'm thinking of trying something on the cricut with transparency film to make a mask...

Way to go!
Yes, you can use die cuts for masks, too. There's a technique on his site where you use embossing for the mask and then melt it away with an iron. (I think this technique is an evil plot to get an iron back in my house so I haven't tried it yet.)
It's really pretty!

could be an evil plot... I use my little craft iron! It's really a very cool kind of batik way to do stuff!pamcook wrote:Way to go!
