Oops. I forgot to say thank you to Farley - your ornament arrived yesterday.

(I've started unpacking the craft room - oy, what a project this is going to be).

Jill, your envelope with my ornament came back to me today as “undeliverable as addressed” to your FL address you messaged me. :( Of course the huge message stating that, covers the address I wrote so I can’t tell what I did wrong!

I’ll recheck the address give it another go.

I was able to peel the sticker off. I can’t see a thing wrong with how I addressed it. Jill I checked your FL address and it is exactly how I wrote it. Bummer. I’ll try again.

I have received 11 cards and 2 packages since I been here.

I talked to postman today and he said the address is in the system with our name

Well it is in there with 5 names
Jacquelyn
Jill
Thomas
Tom and
Mr. and Mrs. T.

so it should have been covered.

The only thing is the part-time help!

Shaking my head in wonder. Well I hope you get my card and I’ll resend the ornament. Plus the envelope was so mangled on one side I was amazed the ornament was in one piece and in good shape.

Farley
I got the Christmas card just fine.

Another trick I learned was instead of your return address put the persons that you are mailing too.
That way it goes back to them not you.

Oh thank goodness! Great idea, I’ll try that for the ornament.

I ended up peeling the old label off, which was addressed correctly, and typed the new one. If that fails, when you get back home you'll have a card waiting for you there since the Florida postmen seem to be a teeny bit lax.

Jill, that's a great idea - I'd never have thought of that!
