You know...I am a tad scattered and rushed today. I thought I posted this on the card challenge! But at least two of the cards have a doily-like die cut so maybe I'm not too far off. Sheesh.

The Borgund Stavkirke is believed to have been built about 1150 AD outside of what is now Lærdal, Norway at the end of the longest fjord (Sogn fjord) in the country. It is one of the oldest and best preserved Stavkirkes in Norway.

I found this on their website about where the original church is.

Thanks for posting about it, that is a different church from the one we saw, Debbie, but I suppose that was the style way back then.
