Great layout, Pam. I read the journaling and am so glad that Kenan's hearing problem was solved.

I'm going to try to do some card sets with a few (hopefully more) scrapbook pages thrown in. This is my first card - super easy. I used Roben Marie Smith paper and threw a die cut on top (and I still get 5.5 points! Woo Hoo!).

Yes - we were all stunned to learn he had no hearing in one ear! He never complains about anything. A few weeks ago, he woke up with blood dripping from his ear. Said it only hurt “a little bit”. Now we’ve learned to ask “do you still have super-hearing” for the best gauge of how he’s doing.
Braces and palate expander are next on the agenda.

Cheryl & Sue - thanks for joining in!

Taking care of his ears early is best. Our daughter had surgery as a child and it helped but she has a great loss in the one ear. Sometimes that is to her advantage.

Wow where do I begin!

Cheryl I really like your card and it’s clever folding...hmmm, maybe one of the things I add tomorrow to the Card Challenge :D

Sue outstanding, artful card!

Pam, oh my how hard for Kenan to go through all that and hard on the whole family too. Your LO is so sweet.

Has anyone ever been to the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD?? Super cool venue for concerts etc. my mom and aunt went there to see Lawrence Welk when I was a kid!! Anybody remember Lawrence? A one, and a two and....

Anyway my granddaughter and I stopped there on our vacation this summer and I was really amazed, it really is a work of art and they change the scenes frequently also. And the best popcorn balls EVER!

I’m not keeping track of points either but I think I should get 2 points for changing the “Stop and smell the roses” from roses to corn!! Lol

Okay I am cross posting my Day 2 card since I am just now rereading the above elements. My first post here, a cross post and I created my own background stamped panel that is behind the flowers.

I think that’s 2 1/2 points.
