Feather painting?

Post by nchoney »

I've got some white feathers and lots of acrylic paints if anyone's interested in painting some feathers at the beach. I'll pack them in my bag along with the paints and brushes.... and we can play if anyone's interested.

Here's a little tutorial... https://factorydirectcraft.com/factoryd ... -tutorial/

There are lots of examples online....

This is something that Wendy and I are going to do when we get some time together in late May. I'll look forward to seeing what you do at the beach. I just picture any feathers I do being stuck together in a clump of paint.

I found that short tutorial had good advice. Paint a base layer of slightly watered down paint. I'm guessing that will let the feather stay feathery!!
