"Little Boxes on the Hillside"

Post by katymjo »

Do you remember that Pete Seeger song from way back? I made this little quilt with my scraps of Christmas fabrics. I took the idea from a large quilt on The Quilt Room website. I got out the squared paper and figured out how it went, or something similar. All the houses are different.

Lovely!
I have done house quilts but never on an angle like that. I like it.

This is like the Pete Seeger song but nothing "tacky-tacky" about your houses. Adorable, Kathryn!

Love your quilt, Kathryn. Nothing ticky-tacky or all the same about those houses!

Are we showing our age that we remember the song???

I've just googled it....1963!
Can it really be that long ago?

I would have thought the song was older... but... here's some info about it... Pete may have sung it, but he didn't write it :-)

about the houses made of tick tacky. LOL
