I went ahead and signed up for the class last night... and watched Kristina's lesson 1.... fun ideas.... hoping to get started playing with my inks tonight. I'm not sure what my rainbow assortment will look like.. I might have a rainbow assortment of distress inkpads.... but I may be lacking in the yellows and oranges... it'll definitely be a good time to weed out some inkpads, though...

Nancy did a great job following the instructions for her cards, too!!

I'm too cheap to sign up but I'm gonna copy everything you make, Nancy. And Debi. So watch out.

Here's a card from day 2. This was from Jennifer's lesson. I think it looks like her style.
Anyway you Stamp once, Stamp again second generation. Then go to next color and stamp on top of the second generation one you did. Then ink and stamp again, then Stamp a second generation. And so on and so on. Does that make sense? You get more colors of the rainbow with less ink pads!
Do you see my boo-boo?

I brought my distress inks and some cardstock with me to work today... since I'm in my office all alone and needed something to keep me distracted for a lunch hour....

played with just making the backgrounds suggested in the lessons on Day 1 of this class... and even though I was using a post-it note for my fingers, I still got them inky when I was switching the foam pads on my little applicators, so I still got ink on things where it shouldn't be... but I think I can trim it away

the first ones are just inking in from the outside... and then inking from the inside toward the outside...

then... inking along one side... and then up from the bottom... I'll add images to those later to make cards...

the single one is just 3 colors of ink... red, yellow, blue .... you put the red down... and the blue... leaving a small area in between... then you ink in the yellow and blend it on either side to make the orange and green...

then... there was the idea of inking the rainbow colors around a stencil... I didn't have any with me that were just one big opening... so I played with these two

Nice Debi! Love the hedgehog. This sounds like a fun class. Am I going to regret not joining?
