Heard Museum

Post by Debbie J »

Is having a showing of Freida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's art work! It's the only showing in North America and will be going to Europe after that. I bought my light rail pass and there is a stop in front of the museum. Can't wait. Probably will go later this week. I love living where things like this are accessible. The Museum has a lot of things to see and do. There is a Freidaand Diego garden in Tucson that the museum is taking a bus of people to see. I might do that too.

That is great!

We once went down to Heritage Square to tour the Rosson house and had a nice lunch. Then there was a Titanic deal at the Natural History Museum so it was a nice day.

Lots to do in your new town!!

I went to the Heard several times over the years while visiting my Dad. It was wonderful. Also, if you like mysteries, check out The Poisoned Pen bookstore in Scottsdale. They have author visits ALL the time and a great selection of mystery books.

That will be a good exhibit at the Heard. I'd definitely be taking in the garden tour, too.

Fabulous. So envious. Great that you are finding entertainment for yourself.

Mallory is going on May 21. And now Teresa is sure to schedule it in to her next visit. Sadly, I won't be down there before August 20.
