2016 Christmas Cards - March
Re: 2016 Christmas Cards - March
Pam your embossing folder is perfect for a holiday card. (I have that one too) Is the background paper a pearlized card stock? It looks to have a sheen to it. Gorgeous, gorgeous cards! Love your new stamps and dies too.

The last 4 Christmas cards.
Yes, the paper is pearlized. The last sheet from that kit. Some sort of Asian theme.
Thanks for the kind comments!

Beautiful cards, Pam! I'm so glad you tried that paper in the folders - I was wondering earlier if it would work well for embossing.

Pam, these cards are gorgeous. For someone who says she's not a card maker, I would say you're doing pretty well.

Here are a few I have been able to get finished.
First one is a combo of Stampin' Up!, Anna Griffin Stickles & Darice Embossing folder: This next one is also Anna Griffin, Stampin' Up, Stickles & the embossing folder is from Stampin' Up! I inked the wrong side of the folder but am happy with how it turned out.

I was wondering how you got such detail! I need to try that.
Pam & Cheryl, your cards are so pretty!
Pam, that paper does well but sometimes, if the design is too close to the cut edge, you'll get a fold or "break on the edge. It doesn't bother me.

Pam and Cheryl, great cards! I think I will go to my scrap room and work on these. In the mood for some scrappy fun. I had the last three days at Regional basketball and I have been hearing whistles in my sleep! Both girls and boys team did awesome and next weekend 3 more days of State tournament. Plus granddaughter running the 1600 in Casper. I'm spread pretty thin next weekend.

Lovely cards, everyone. Makes me want to play with paper and make a mess.
Re: 2016 Christmas Cards - March
Fantastic cards, Cheryl. I love the embossing folders and the inking technique
Re: 2016 Christmas Cards - March
Using the same paper pad from last month. I think if I make 100 cards I will still have paper left!

That would an interesting part of the challenge to use the same paper pad through all the monthly challenges.
Everyone is making beautiful cards with the embossing folders.

Great cards, Debbie. Keep pounding away at that paper pad.
