WOW Embossing Powders
Beth Richards & I took a class over at Betty's in Greensboro a couple of weeks ago using these powders. Very cool and of course I bought some. Also bought a few Color Bursts which I have yet to work with.
At the class Marian (not sure if that spelling is correct or of her last name) from England showed us how to use these. I hope to use them on some Christmas cards soon. we made 4 cards the 1st of which was totally trashed. The rest still are not finished as I need to add a saying on them but you can get a good idea. Actually this one is finished:

Re: WOW Embossing Powders
Are WOW powders (and ZING) different than the gigantic stash of EP I already own? I've been wondering?
Gorgeous cards! Love the bling!

Re: WOW Embossing Powders
Jen the WOW powders have glitter in them and you heat them up from the bottom. I have several colors and hope to play more this coming weekend. Some of the colors have not be released here in the states yet. She brought them with her from England. That teal is one not here yet and I really like it.

I'm glad to know they all have glitter in them so now I won't wonder if I wany them. I am finally running out of a few colors of ep.

Those cards are beautiful! It's been AGES since I've played with embossing powders. It's one of many things I need to dig out and play with again.

These are gorgeous.
I have some of these eps and never knew they needed to be heated from below.

Re: WOW Embossing Powders
Christy they tend to burn really easy so they recommend heating from below. Once it is a little set you can heat at the top but they don't take much.

Cheryl, they do seem to make all kinds-regular, pearl and glitter, I saw them on joann.com. Their own website wouldn't come up.

Re: WOW Embossing Powders
Here is a card I just made for my niece & her new husband. I hate to admit they got married in July - small private wedding so I figure late is better than never. It is very light. I used the foil from one of my die cuts and the WOW EP Seaglass
