2014 Camp PAO-Wow Art
Re: DIY embellishments
I'm going to put this layout here since I did paint the blue and yellow papers in the clusters and also altered the color of the glittery hearts and put them all together.

Completely scraplifted from Maggie Holmes' blog.
Here's another. This one was taken last December, I think. She looks too grown up in this photo.Pam Cook #48
Re: DIY embellishments
Here is a layout of our dogs Brutus and Sassy. Sassy passed away in 2013 and Brutus passed away this July. We miss them so much, but I'm not ready to get another.
The DIY element is the paper clip flag in the corner. I found a You Tube video that showed how to make them. It took me a couple of tries. I think I will make more in the future.

Re: Renew, reuse, recycle
More from the trip with Marianne. I cut round the entrance ticket to make the title, and the other two pictures are from an information sheet I picked up "somewhere". I have had this paper for a long time, waiting for the right layout. I cut round some of the flowers and slipped the photos underneath.

Re: Multi-photo layouts!
It was a beautiful Spring day at Monticello. There was peach blossom in the orchard, and then this bluebird flew in. Wonderful!

Re: All creatures great and small...
I made these two cards this afternoon for birding friends who have birthdays next month. Brian took the photo of the Egret at Chincoteague and the Blue Jay in the trees from Marianne's deck!

Re: Renew, reuse, recycle
Someone mentioned using border punches on scraps so I pulled these strips out of the recycle bin. Found enough to punch butterflies, too.
Irit Landgraf does quite a bit of tone on tone embellishments (which is where I got the idea to punch the butterflies out of the same scraps).
Very happy with how this turned out!

Re: Camp Jumble (aka where everything else goes)
This photo is of Miss Lillian and Miss Florence (I cropped out a woman who I didn't know).
They were missionaries to the folks in the holler where my Mom grew up. Every Sunday, they would drive up that long gravel road in their pink SUV to offer a ride to church. My cousins and I got to ride with them a few times that I remember. They were from PA and lived next to the church for probably 20 or 30 years. Miss Florence died of a heart attack while washing the SUV in the creek. I think Miss Lillian ended up in a nursing home in PA.
Those women surely impacted the lives of so many. I know they're enjoying their blessings.

Re: Camp Jumble (aka where everything else goes)
Thanks everyone!
This one is scraplifted from Irit Landgraf. Her style is very fun and I really enjoy her process videos.
Kenan doesn't like to look at the camera any more than his papa does but I love this photo of him looking at Alcatraz and the SF Bay. Aren't the colors in the photo just beautiful?

Re: Camp Jumble (aka where everything else goes)
I kind of scrap lifted this design from Pam C, don't remember who she got it from. This is one of my many photos that are from our trip to Europe and this is a view inside the Vienna Opera House.

Re: Camp Jumble (aka where everything else goes)
Not sure if it is okay to add my card photos here but I'm going with it. I made these cards yesterday when Beth & Beki were over. Had a great time with them and Beth brought along lots of new goodies that I borrowed.
This Owl is from a set Beki brought along that is CTMH and I used some jiggle eyes that I have had for ever. One of the cute sets that Beth brought and I don't remember the name: The inside:
